The

               Koala Wine Bottle

Welcome

Australian Image WinesTM is proud to bring you the spectacular and unique "Koala Wine Bottle". Inspired by the beautiful and cuddly Koala and containing super premium Australian Shiraz red wine.

The Shiraz is a grape with a uniquely Australian character.  It’s origins in Australia begin around 1832 coming from France’s Rhone Valley where the Shiraz grape is known as Syrah.

The Shiraz grape turned out to be an extremely adaptive and versatile grape, adopting character depending on what region of Australia it was grown in.  Wine makers around the world may try to copy the distinctive Australian Shiraz with its mulberry, spicy, slightly ‘wild’ flavour that can only be Australia’s own but to no avail.

The styles of the Australian Shiraz varies from elegant, peppery cool climate styles to more intensely flavoured spicy styles of Coonawarra and Margaret River to powerful and minty, sweet and chocolaty , muscular, and ripe-fruited, and leather and rich.

With the availability of increased plantings of Viognier in Australia, in recent years, winemakers have increasingly blended Shiraz Viognier combinations.  Typically, Shiraz Viognier blends have a perfumed aroma and softer tannins which make these wines suitable to enjoy while relatively young.

The Koala Wine Bottle contains an exceptional quality Shiraz from the Dookie region in Central Victoria, Australia.  A typical Central Victorian styled wine, rich in the mouth with ripe tannins, blackberry, prune and plum.

As a collectable souvenir, the Koala Wine Bottle is perfect for tourists and proud Australians.  Apart from owning a truly unique collectable, you will also benefit from:

  • A Super Premium Australian Wine
